Cloudy Day

So it's 4am and I'm no stranger to that time. I don't know why I start things at 11pm especially mixing a track. Wouldn't be so bad if I started having sex at 11pm and it was still going on til 4am but no, no such luck. Actually listening to Conor Smith's Solo on this song is better than sex. I have listened to it over and over and ..yip you guessed it...over again. I'm not sure if young Conor will agree but maybe he's been having tremendously outstanding sex. So back to the mixing. I am pretty new to pro tools and definitely new to mixing. Got a set of headphones on and i've been panning shit and automating shit and sticking cool plugins on the song so it sounds like he's playing in the London Theatre when in actual fact he was playing in my garage... So this is a bit of a tease as I haven't put a vocal on it yet but when i do and when I sit til all hours in the morning mixing,cutting and pasting the vocal, you may then get a listen to "Cloudy Day". Until then you just have to look out the frikin window. Ps..The photo has nothing to do with anything i am just a bit delirious and decided to put this with the blog. First Blog

So here is my first Blog! There's so many websites to deal with, Youtube, myspace, facebook, tumblr, blogger, fuck then there's revebnation, twitter, stumbleupon and my own website. I'm sure I could go on. Now I'm not very good at any of them and I have a distinct feeling noone gives a flying fcuk! But yet here I am typing away like i'm talking to myself and unless anyone reads it, that's exactly what i'm doing. I'm not sure how long i'll be able to keep this up in between tweeting and youtubing facebooking and stumbling but this is my first feeble attempt and long may it continue :) I am of course on all of these sites above as saradouglasnet or saradouglasmusic or saradouglaschannel . If you want to find me i'm sure you will somewhere in cyberspace! I'm sure i will reply if i can fit it in between logging in and out remembering passwords and usernames and thinking of 'funny' or 'interesting' things to say or do. Note to self......use the same bloody password and fuck you to people who have already used my username and force me to create some other variation to my name. There is one constant in all of it. I will continue to write and record songs and they will appear all over these sites and that I am happy with ;) xx
